The Lenoir City Recorder/Treasurer’s Office is committed to providing excellent service to the citizens of Lenoir City, the general public, City Council, City employees, and all other government agencies.
The Recorder/Treasurer’s Office:
The Recorder/Treasurer’s Office oversees the security and management of the City’s financial and property interests. It also houses a collection of most of the City’s revenues including: Property Taxes, Business Taxes, Beer Permits, Hotel/Motel Taxes, and Annual Liquor License Renewals. This office helps the City Administrator, Amber Scott, to prepare, implement, and monitor the City’s Annual Capital and Operating Budgets.
